I'd like to tell you a story.

It's about WHY I do what I do and what I'd like to help you achieve.

I want to make you feel like YOU again - despite the crazy hormone roller-coaster we go on as new mammas.

I want to help you get back to running and jumping while also looking after your pelvic floor, tummy muscles, and joints.

As mammas, it's not just our bodies going through the biggest change it will likely ever go through, but emotionally as we become mothers too.

I lived in The Big Apple for 5 years. I had an incredibly successful (but stressful) TV career, hosting the number one cable morning show in the world - broadcasting out of the heart New York City. It was a thrilling way to live.

While there, I met a handsome Aussie bloke swept me on my feet!

We moved for love to Sydney, Australia. We wanted to start a family and live a more fulfilling life surrounded by family and friends.

All my life I had always been somewhat of an elite athlete. I ran track at university and completed numerous marathons and triathlons -- including some of the finest in the world -- Boston and New York!

I had also been a certified fitness instructor, previously teaching up to 10 group classes a week in North Carolina. I did this while also hosting local TV news (before I ever got the call up to NYC).

My dream in my 20's had been to be the next fitness superstar or national morning TV host. But life took me to Australia to begin a simpler life with less stress.

I had two miscarriages before getting pregnant with my son and it made me realize what an absolute privilege it is to be a mother.

I also helped me see how important it is to stay fit both mentally and physically during pregnancy.

When I got pregnant, I was a bit scared and confused about fitness during those 9 months. I did lots of research about what was safe for fitness because I knew it would help me FEEL LIKE ME - despite all the body changes.

A lot of women during their first trimester are worried that exercise will cause miscarriage -- research shows it does NOT! In fact there are COUNTLESS benefits of exercising for both mamma and baby.

During this research I realized there is crappppppy information online about what is ok and what isn't as far as exercise goes. I made it my mission to understand. There is a lot of outdated info online.

After my son was born, I was again unsure when I struggled, like so many mammas with minor abs separation, back pain, and pelvic floor weakness.

I was frustrated with my bulging belly and wild hormones. Although what I experienced was not different to most mammas, it was difficult. 

Can you relate?

How would I ever get back to that intense exercise I LOVED and MISSED so much. How would I feel like ME?

Fitness and career were my identity and my energy sources.

I eventually got back into all the running and jumping and leaping and frolicking my heart desired! Yasssss!

Marathons here I come!!!

I also tacked on certification after certification until I felt like an expert in this specialization of women's fitness and prenatal/postnatal fitness.

I now want to share everything I've learned with the world. I want to share all my mamma fitness secrets with you... motivate... and inspire you to live your best life!
